Prodigy Learning today announced UK charity SportsAble
as the charity partner for the ACA World Championship UK & Ireland Final on June 16, 2016. SportsAble is a leading grassroots to Paralympic sports charity that has been changing disabled people’s lives through sport for more than four decades.
The Adobe Certified Associate World Championship is a global competition that identifies and honours the next generation of design professionals using Adobe software. The Regional Final will bring together the 20 finalists at an event hosted by Adobe UK on June 16, 2016 to determine the UK & Ireland Champion.
The event will see finalists compete in a design challenge where they will be .given instructions, project requirements, and assets to complete a real–world design challenge for SportsAble using Adobe Creative Cloud software. The UK & Ireland Champion will be determined based on an evaluation of the finalists’ work.
The 2016 UK & Ireland Champion will win the trip of a lifetime (sponsored by Prodigy Learning) to represent the region and compete at the final round of the World Championship in Orlando, Florida.

Based in Maidenhead but with members from all over, SportsAble provides accessible facilities,expert coaching,adapted equipment and volunteer support in 12 different sports and activities 52 weeks of the year.

e” are the words often heard from members who are Paralympians, young children with disabilities or adults who are disabled following an accident or illness. Carers and families also benefit from being a part of such a positive, friendly and supportive organisation.
The charity needs more than £250,000 to operate each year and will soon embark upon a £6m expansion project to increase the size of the current sports facility so that more disabled people can benefit from more sport, more often.
