MOS Championship Final 2019
The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) World Championship is a global competition that tests students' skills on Microsoft Office applications, operated and sponsored in the UK and Ireland by Prodigy Learning.

In 2019 three students will win the trip of a lifetime to represent the UK and Ireland at the final round in NEW YORK and the chance to compete in Certiport’s global MOS World Championship (with a top prize $7,000 USD)!

To select these Champions, Microsoft and Prodigy Learning invite students across the UK and Ireland to participate in the MOS Four Nations Championship and prove their mastery of Microsoft Office.



Taking Part

To participate, eligible students* must take, and pass, a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exam in Excel, PowerPoint or Word before 10th May 2019. For more details and information on preparing your students, please visit moschampionship.com

MOS Four Nations Championship Final

Thousands of students across UK & Ireland will enter, only the top 27 students will secure a place and be invited to the MOS4N Championship Final in London at CertMatters.Live 2019. These students will sit a MOS exam in their qualifying category and the Excel, PowerPoint and Word Four Nations Champions will be crowned and win trip of a lifetime to compete in NEW YORK.

As part of the MOS Four Nations Championship Final day, finalists will work as a National Team on a project to demonstrate their collaborative mastery of the three productivity tools and incorporate 21st Century skills. Teams will present to a panel of judges for the chance to win the MOS Four Nations Project Award.

MOS4N Championship 2019 Entry Rounds

Fast Track Round – Oct 3rd until Oct 19th
  • Top three students from across UK & Ireland will secure their place in London Final during Fast Track Round. One student in each category Excel, PowerPoint & Word will be crowned using highest score, quickest time method. Each student crowned will also win a pair of Beats Headphones.
Round 1 – Oct 29th until Dec 21st
  • Nine students will secure their place in the London Final during Round 1. Three students from Ireland (One each from Excel, PowerPoint & Word) and 6 students from England, Scotland and Wales (Two each category). Places will be secured based on highest score, quickest time method.
Round 2 – Jan 7th until May 10th
  • Twelve students will secure their place in the London Final during Round 2. Nine students from England, Scotland & Wales (three in each category) using highest score, quickest time method, and three students from Ireland will be crowned at the Irish Finals in Dublin.
Bonus Round
  • We will run a surprise bonus round where three students from across UK & Ireland can secure themselves a place in the London Final, one in each category Excel, PowerPoint & Word.

One of last year’s winners, Adam Drummond competed at CertMatters.Live and won the trip of a lifetime to represent UK & Ireland in Orlando, Florida at the MOS World Championship, where he proved himself to be one of the Top 3 Microsoft Word users in the World!

MOS Australia Championship 2019

MOS Australia Championship is an opportunity for students across Australia to prove their digital skills and mastery of Microsoft Office, battling for the trip of a lifetime to New York to compete in the global MOS Championship Final 2019.

Hundreds of students across Australia will enter, only the top student will secure a place to fly and compete in NEW YORK at MOS World Championship 2019. Further details and entry requirements for MOS Championship can be found here.

MOSAU Championship 2019 Entry Rounds

Round One - Nov 1st until Dec 17th 2018 
  • 9 students (three in each category) will secure place in virtual MOS Australia Final in May (Highest score, quickest time qualifiers)
Round Two - Feb 18th until May 10th 2019
  • 9 students (three in each category) will secure place in virtual MOS Australia Final in May (Highest score, quickest time qualifiers)
MOS Australia Virtual Final - May 2019
  • 18 students will be invited to compete in MOS Australia Virtual Final where the top MOS Australian Champion 2019 will be crowned. (Highest score, quickest time qualifiers)

Get Certified to Compete

To enter the MOS Four Nations Championship 2019, students must be between the ages of 13 and 22 as of June 15, 2019. Eligible students must take, and pass, a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exam in Excel, PowerPoint or Word. Find out more details and entry requirements at moschampionship.com.
