Prodigy Learning, a global EdTech company, is pleased to announce it has been named an EducationInvestor Awards 2019
finalist in the ICT – Platforms and Applications category for the second year in a row.
Prodigy is shortlisted with an impressive field of nominees: Atom Learning, Dragons Teaching, Fiction Express, MWS Technology, National Education Group, ScholarPack and Tassomai.
Prodigy was recognized for its outstanding efforts in developing and delivering courses and certifications to the education sector, such as its new Coding in Minecraft
computer science credential program with supporting curriculum delivered through Minecraft: Education Edition. The program provides educators with a revolutionary end-to-end teaching and assessment solution for their students to develop and prove skills in coding.
“We specialize in bringing technology into more classrooms through credentials and certification exams, and we are pleased EducationInvestor recognized those efforts with this nomination,” said Andrew Flood, CEO, Prodigy Learning. “We have been working to change the face of ICT in education for many years by allowing individuals to not only learn in-demand workforce skills, but to validate them so they can offer proof of mastery as they progress through college and career.”
Prodigy has over 3,000 customers in the education, training, corporate and public sectors across Europe, Ireland, UK, Australia and most recently expanded into the USA, opening its New York office
in September. Customers range from secondary schools to prestigious universities such as London School of Economics and the University of St. Andrews, government bodies including the NHS in the UK and SOLAS in Ireland and corporate organisations including large professional bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Now in its tenth year running, the EducationInvestor Awards
ceremony will present 20 awards recognising key contributions and excellence from international organisations across 5 categories in the UK Education sector: Advisory and Finance, Education Property, Content and Education provision, Suppliers and Grand Prix.
