Success Stories

Prodigy Learning has worked with academic, corporate and public sector customers across the UK & Ireland to offer internationally recognised IT certifications to their students and staff. Our Success Stories highlight a selection of the organisations that we have worked with in recent years.

The NHS, the largest employer in Europe, worked with Prodigy Learning to create a MOS certification programme to raise standards and productivity. A survey of over 2,000 learners showed 90% of staff increased productivity!

De Montfort University (DMU) has played a key role in the launch of the new HP Institute - an academic programme that will provide students with the business-ready IT skills that are in deficit within the industry.

QA Apprenticeships (MTA)

QA Apprenticeships (MTA)
Formed in 2009, QA Apprenticeships is part of QA – the UK’s leading learning business.  They are the first IT apprenticeships business to be rated Ofsted Outstanding in all areas. In addition, QA are an award-winning provider, offering IT, developer, digital marketing, project management, sales and business apprenticeships throughout England and Scotland.

QA has built the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certifications into their IT Systems & Networking and their Software & Web Development Apprenticeship Programmes.

As QA’s IT Apprenticeship Programme has grown, so has the number of MTA certifications it delivers.   In March 2015, QA was presented with an Outstanding Centre of Excellence Award from Prodigy Learning.  Centre of Excellence awards are presented annually by Prodigy Learning to recognise exceptional performance in delivering internationally recognised IT certifications from industry leaders such as Adobe, Autodesk, HP and Microsoft.

QA use a range of learning solutions from Prodigy Learning to support their delivery of MTA certifications including official Microsoft textbooks and MeasureUp Practice Tests.

Ben Pike (Director, QA Apprenticeships)
said: “It is an honour that QA has been recognised by Prodigy Learning for our commitment to delivering significant numbers of technical qualifications to apprentices. Accolades like this reinforce QA’s status as the biggest and best IT apprenticeships business in the UK, and we look forward to continuing to grow in both the quality and quantity of our training.”

Craig Bewley (Director, Prodigy Learning) added: “QA’s IT Apprenticeship Programme continues to go from strength to strength. QA are the first and only apprenticeship provider to be recognised with this award for delivering a substantial number of MTA qualifications in 2014. If they continue with the success they’ve had, I have no doubt that they’ll be the number one Certiport Authorised Testing Centre (CATC) by volume in the UK this year!
